Mr. Anthony (Tony) Barnard is the Welding Technology teacher at the Marshall Technical School. He joined our team in 2013 along with a complete renovation of the welding department. Mr. Barnard has an impressive resume’ with background teaching positions from AIDT, CEFA and currently teaches night welding courses for Snead State Community College.
As well as being a certified Welder from Gadsden State he has certifications in NCCER, Forklift Safety, American Welding Society certifications in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW. He is continuing his education at Northeast Community College and has completed undergraduate classes from Athens State in Career Technical Education. Mr. Barnard is a 1991 graduate of Geraldine High School and currently resides in Geraldine with his wife Cherri and two daughters and one son.
We are pleased to have Mr.Barnard at our school teaching Welding Technology, he is an accomplished asset to our school and our students.
